I dunno if you fellow screenwriters have already heard of this...

Celtx

No? Celtx is free media pre-production software designed for writing screen and stageplays, films and loads of other cool media projects. I've only recently started using it, and it. is. AWESOME! So guess what? BOOM I've done two stageplays and a screenplay.

No more gritting my teeth because Word likes to be a bitch and ruin my format - Celtx figures out the format for me.

There's also a piece of software called Final Draft that is also specifically for screenwriting, but that costs money, so just...just don't. Save your money.

Wow, I could totally be a market salesperson!

And if there are any authors out there who are sick and tired of that mocking blank white screen, I hear ya. Which is why I'm about to tell you that I use a website called Writer (writer.bighugelabs.com). Oh, I just did! Writer uses the older green screen...monochrome monitor displays as opposed to the white screen that Word uses, and you can get a full-screen writing environment by a push of the F11 key. And more importantly, it's free. I find it much better...although that could be to do with the fact that I like vintage...

Anyways, there you go. I've done my bit, now you've just got to get writing!

Which reminds me, I haven't posted any stories for a while...

My bad! Seriously guys, I've been so busy these past three weeks what with uni, but it's all gonna change soon. I'm workin' on something.

And I wrote a stageplay version of 'Final Exam', which is going to be used in Proteus now. Here's the script; consider it a treat from me (I wrote it before I'd heard of Celtx, as you can probably tell).
Final Exam

Keep smiling!
